I was given a FREE Rubbermaid Lunchblox kit to keep and review honestly. I was NOT given any money to do this. Well I wasn't able to use it myself, since my daughter "snatched it away".  So this is my "looking at" review and seeing the excitement of my daughter stealing it!! :D

My daughter is an RN now and being on her own, she has found it is cheaper to take your own food to work – especially when you work the midnight shift in the ER. Sometimes she just has minutes to eat so the food needs to be handy and quick.

I have always taken my own meals to work. When I worked at one hospital for 8+ years, I had never purchased any food in the cafeteria -  I probably saved hundreds of dollars (and time standing in a cafeteria line) over the years!

Here is the product I received below and the link with more information

I am a big supporter of ice packs, even in the winter when you are transporting food. I just had this discussion with a facility I consult. I even bring ice packs in an insulated bag when I go grocery shopping. The ice pack, in the middle of this Kit, is what I would want for a better product.  BUT I still recommend an insulated lunch box or bag NOT a paper bag.

The second innovation with this product I liked, is the modular concept. I have thrown all different sizes and shapes in a lunch bag and they just didn't fit.

I have also found Rubbermaid to be mid-priced. You can spend more or you can spend less on other products. But I have always liked Rubbermaid quality and to be honest I have other products from Rubbermaid in my pantry that I have had for years!

Last recommendation – add healthy foods. PLUS make your lunch when you aren't hungry!!

In a recent survey of the performance-enhancing claims made for dozens of fitness products, researchers found not a single one that could be supported by rigorous scientific research. Moreover, the few fitness products that have been thoroughly evaluated appear to have no effect on strength, endurance, speed or reduced muscle fatigue.

“All the companies say they’ve got a scientific basis for these products,” said the senior author, Dr. Matthew Thompson, a senior clinical scientist at the University of Oxford. “That sounds good until you look at it with an objective scientific point of view.”
