Addoway launched a rewards program that allows shoppers on Addoway to earn "Addo Bucks" for sharing deals with their friends on social networks. Addoway is an online "social shopping" marketplace that helps people buy and sell with their friends and with favorite merchants.
Addo Bucks can be used towards purchases on Addoway or can be redeemed for free gift cards from retailers such as Starbucks and Best Buy. Shoppers can also use Addo Bucks to enter limited-entry private giveaways of prizes such as an Apple iPad or Nintendo Wii.

The Box is made of 100 percent FSC-certified and recycled material, printed with water-based inks, and are designed to require minimal tape and to last for multiple uses. And the intent behind the Box is to encourage sellers to reuse their boxes — and to encourage buyers to become sellers.
In the process, eBay expects the Box to have significant environmental benefits. According to a post on the eBay Green Team website, "By our calculations, if every box gets reused at least five times, we could protect nearly 4,000 trees, save 2.4 million gallons of water and conserve enough energy to power 49 homes for a year."
Figures represent the savings from the pilot run of 100,000 boxes that will start hitting the road in October. Sellers can place orders for free eBay Boxes until supplies run out, at which point the Boxes will make their ways around the country, connecting sellers with buyers and promoting the idea of reuse.

This would be a nice gift to make for a football fan in the house.
The Home Depot's Kids Workshops offer useful projects including the creation of toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, as well as more educational projects, such as a window birdhouse, bughouse or Declaration of Independence frame kit.
The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.
In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin.

Overweight patients with cardiovascular risks who took the weight-loss drug sibutramine (Meridia) had a 16% increased likelihood of experiencing a cardiac event, a large randomized trial found.
What does this have to do with dietary supplements? Some of the recalls have had sibutramine illegally added. What if your best friend or family member had a heart attack because of one of these dietary supplements – would you be upset then?? Would you be upset if the prescription medicine you were taking had double the dose in it or had something else added? Or if the aspirin you were taking only had 1/2 the dose?
